The Art, Design & Architecture Museum at the University of California, Santa Barbara re-opens February 26, 2012 with two unprecedented exhibitions: Carefree California: Cliff May and the Romance of the Ranch House and Catherine Opie Photographs Cliff May. The exhibits and related programming are part of the region-wide J. Paul Getty Trust initiative, Pacific Standard Time: Art in L.A., 1945-1980, a groundbreaking collaboration of more than sixty cultural institutions across Southern California.

This pop-up website features the latest information on these exhibitions which present the story of the ranch house, Southern California's iconic, twentieth-century architectural creation that promoted a new image of casual, western living and captured the desire of the world.
